Engineered for high reliability and low power consumption, this 12-pin component displays numbers from 0000 to 9999 along with decimal points for precision measurements.
In this Common Cathode (CC) configuration, all negative terminals of the individual segment LEDs in each digit are tied to common digit cathode pins. By multiplexing the 4 digit cathode pins and 8 segment anode pins, you can control all 32 segments using just 12 physical pins on your breadboard or custom PCB.
