At the center of the DAC Pro SC2077 is the advanced Texas Instruments PCM5242 DAC IC. Beyond standard line-level phono RCA outputs and a dedicated 3.5mm headphone amplifier (TI TPA6133A), the DAC Pro breaks out differential/balanced signal headers (P7/P9). This allows audio enthusiasts and sound engineers to connect balanced XLR lines to drive long cable runs to professional studio equipment, mixers, or powered PA speakers without noise degradation. Native HAT EEPROM integration allows instant plug-and-play setup with popular Linux audio distributions like Volumio, Moode Audio, OSMC, and Raspberry Pi OS.
