The MKS TMC2226 is a stepper motor driver that is designed for use with 3D printers, CNC machines, and other devices that use stepper motors. It is based on the TMC2226 chip from Trinamic, a company that specializes in stepper motor drivers and other motion control products. The TMC2226 is a high-performance driver that can deliver up to 2A of current to each phase of the stepper motor and can operate with a wide range of supply voltages (4.75V to 45V). It also features advanced features such as stealthChop2 for quiet operation, spreadCycle for high motor torque, and coolStep for energy saving. It also has built-in thermal protection and a number of other advanced features that help to ensure smooth and reliable operation.
