The MC7815CTG is a fixed output positive linear voltage regulator in 3 pins TO-220 package. This monolithic integrated circuit is designed as a fixed voltage regulator for a wide variety of applications including local and oncard regulation. This regulator employs internal current limiting, thermal shutdown, and safe area compensation.
