DSI stands for Display Serial Interface and it?defines a high-speed serial interface between a host processor and a display module. It is often called as MIPI DSI (mobile industry processor interface display serial interface) because MIPI is the standard Raspberry Pi OS provides touchscreen drivers with support for ten-finger touch and an on-screen keyboard, giving you full functionality without the need to connect a keyboard or mouse. The 480 x 800 display connects to Raspberry Pi via an adapter board that handles power and signal conversion
