Description
The DS18B20 Temperature Sensor Module makes integrating digital temperature measurement into your electronics projects simple and hassle-free. Unlike standalone TO-92 ICs that require manual breadboard wiring and an external pull-up resistor, this breakout module comes pre-assembled with a 4.7kΩ pull-up resistor, a power indicator LED, and standard 3-pin headers (VCC, GND, DATA).
Utilizing Dallas/Maxim’s proprietary 1-Wire protocol, the module communicates with microcontrollers using only a single digital GPIO pin. It converts temperature readings directly into a digital output (9 to 12-bit configurable resolution), making it immune to analog voltage noise over signal lines.
