Description

The Raindrops Detection Sensor Module is an easy-to-use weather detection tool designed to detect water droplets, rain intensity, and moisture accumulation. The kit consists of two distinct components: a large rain sensing board that collects droplets and a separate LM393 control board that processes the signals.

When rain falls onto the sensing board, the electrical conductivity increases, reducing resistance between the traces. The onboard LM393 high-precision comparator converts this resistance shift into a clean Digital Output (HIGH/LOW) via an adjustable potentiometer for threshold detection. Additionally, it provides a real-time Analog Output corresponding to the exact amount of water covering the board surface, allowing microcontrollers to measure rain severity.
